Save a redial entry to the directory

1.
Press REDIAL/
in idle mode.
PAUSE
2.
Press CID, DIR or REDIAL/
PAUSE
displays.
3.
Press
/SELECT twice.
MENU
4.
The handset displays ENTER NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
Press
/DELETE to erase a digit.
MUTE
Press and hold
/DELETE to erase all digits.
MUTE
Press CID to move the cursor to the left or DIR to the right.
5.
Press and hold
/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
REDIAL
6.
Press
/SELECT.
MENU
7.
Press CID or DIR to select one of the following types:
Home
Cell
Work
Other
8.
Press
/SELECT. The handset displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing

keys (page 55) to enter a name.
Press
/DELETE to erase a character.
MUTE
Press and hold
/DELETE to erase all characters.
MUTE
Press CID to move the cursor to the left or DIR to the right.

Press
/SELECT to confirm. The handset screen shows Saved and you

Delete a redial entry

when the handset is not in use.

Telephone operation

Intercom

Use the intercom feature for conversations between two system handsets.
You can buy additional expansion handsets (TL90070) for this telephone
system. You can register up to 12 handsets to the telephone base.

To initiate an intercom call

1.
Press MENU/
on the handset in idle mode.
SELECT

Press CID or DIR to highlight Intercom, then press
/SELECT.

If you have a two-handset system, your handset displays
Calling other handset. The destination handset rings
and displays Other handset is calling. The destination
handset rings and displays Handset X is calling.
If you have more than two handsets, your handset
displays INTERCOM TO: and a list of registered
handsets. Press CID or DIR to select a destination
handset and then press
/SELECT. You may also
MENU
press 1-9 for HANDSET 1-9, *0 for HANDEST 10,
*1 for Handset 11 or *2 for Handset 12. Your handset displays
Calling HANDSET X. The destination handset rings and displays
HANDSET X is calling.
To answer an intercom at the destination handset:
Press
HOME/
or
SPEAKER. Both screens show Intercom.
FLASH
To silence an intercom call:
Press
OFF/
or MUTE/
CLEAR
DELETE
displays Ringer muted for a few seconds.
To end an intercom call:
Press
OFF/
or place either handset back in the telephone base or
CLEAR
charger. Both handsets display Intercom ended.
NOTES:
1.
You can cancel the intercom call before it is answered by pressing
your originating handset.
2.
If the destination handset does not answer the intercom call within 100 seconds, is in
the directory or call log, or is out of range, the originating handset displays Unable to
call try again and returns to idle mode.
3.
You can use a maximum of five handsets at a time. For example, when four handsets
are used on intercom calls, use another handset for an outside call. When two handsets
are used on an intercom call, you can use three other handsets for an outside call.
