PanEG
The pan EG is a special envelope generator which can be used to control the panning or
level functions over the duration of a note. This EG shapes the way in which the voice(s)
are distributed between the audio outputs.
The rates behave in an identical manner to those of the level and pitch EGs. They
determine the speed with which one level changes to the next

Notice that there is no mention above of a level value of 50. A level of 50 places the
stereo image in the middle between the output jacks. To turn this effect off, set all of the
levels to 50.
