Parallel Parking
The Parallel steering-sync driving trajec-
tory displays as follows:

About 0.5 m from the rear
Red Line

Parallel parking is composed of 3 steps:
• In step 1, the driver selects Parallel
mode and readies the car in an appro-
priate position for parallel parking. Steer
into parking space to display the corre-
sponding guidelines. Parking Guideline
blinks until the green steering-sync
extension line matches the green park-
ing space guideline. Steer within a cer-
tain range until the blinking stops, and
then start reversing for step 2.
• In step 2, maintain the steering angle

from step 1 and the car reverses into
an appropriate position in the parking
space. When the car starts to reverse
while maintaining the steering angle, a
green guideline is displayed. The driver
reverses the car until the green guide-
line matches the inner parking line of
the parking space. When the car stops,
turn the wheel in the opposite direction
for step 3.
• In step 3, turn the handle back to its
original position and reverse the car
slowly to finish parallel parking.
CAUTION
• There may be some difference between the
actual distance and the distance that appears
on-screen. For safety, make sure to view
the back, right, and left sides of the car for
yourself.
