Receiver
2.3.1
Description
The GuidePort Receiver automatically reacts to the magnetic fields created by
Identifier Transmitters (see 2.4). These Identifiers transmit a number which is related
to a certain audio event. When receiving this number, the receiver will transfer the
corresponding audio information to the Mollie System. Mollie then decides on the action
to be taken, for example to play the audio information. The GuidePort Receiver uses a
prestored assignment table for translating the numbers into the correct action.
