IBM ThinkPad 310E/310ED: User's Guide
PCMRman allows you to modify the available resources of your
computer. You can modify the settings for available reserved
memory addresses, I/O, IRQ and DMA settings. Conflicting settings
for these items can cause your computer to operate improperly. For
this reason, great care should be taken before modifying any of the
current settings.
Follow these steps to display resource usage:

Press Alt-D to pull down the Display menu.

Press ↑ ↑ and ↓ ↓ to choose the desired resource information to
display; then press Enter.
Follow these steps to modify resource settings:

Press Alt-M to pull down the Modify menu.

Press ↑ ↑ and ↓ ↓ to choose the desired resource information to
modify; then press Enter.

Modify the resource:
for Memory Ranges, IRQ Number and DMA Channels
Press ↑ ↑ and ↓ ↓ to choose the desired memory range, IRQ
number or DMA channel to modify; then press Space to
change the setting (None, Included or Excluded) and press
Enter to accept.
