PROBLEM
Poor FM reception on certain stations
Poor AM reception on certain stations
Unit is ON but there is low or no volume at
all
Unit shuts OFF unexpectedly
Cannot set the clock or alarm time
Display lighting is too dim

Troubleshooting

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Weak or distant station
• Weak or distant station
• Main volume has been turned all the way
down
• The unit is in the Sleep Mode with the
volume set low
• Headphones are connected to Headphone
Jack
• Unit was in the Sleep Mode instead of
Power On Mode
• The unit was turned ON by the alarm and
the alarm time ended
• The display must be flashing
• Dimmer switch not adjusted

REMEDY
• Try adjusting the direction of the FM wire
antenna
• Rotate the unit to try and gain better
reception
• Raise the volume with the VOLUME dial
• Adjust the Main and/or Sleep Volume
• Disconnect the headphones
• Press the Radio ON/Sleep button once
to turn the unit back on
• Press the TIME Set button when setting
the time or the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2
button(s) when setting the alarm times
• Adjust Dimmer switch on the back of unit
