Turning the Camera On and Off

1. Remove the plastic cover
that protects the lens glass.
2. Slide the spring loaded ON/
OFF switch in the direction
shown to turn the camera on.
The lens will extend
automatically.
3. To turn the camera off, slide
the ON/OFF switch in the same
direction. The lens will retract automatically.
4. Replace the plastic lens cover when the camera is not in use.
Please Note: The camera can be turned on and straight into playback
mode to view Images, by pressing the Playback button.
Please Also Note: The camera will automatically turn itself off if no op-
erations are performed for a period of time. See Auto Power Off in the
Owners Manual for further information.
