Enabling

Security is enabled by adding a new user with the highest level of security, then
setting a switch on the management card. To enable security, follow Procedure A.
Procedure A. Enabling Security

If the management card switch S1-1 is set to Off (factory setting), skip to Step 4. If the management
card switch S1-1 is set to On, remove the card (refer to the TimeHub 5500 System Manual for
details).

Set switch S1-1 to Off.

Insert the management card (refer to the TimeHub 5500 System Manual for details).

Use the Enter User Security command to add a new user with the highest level of security.
ENT-USER-SECU:[<tid>]:<aid>:<ctag>::<pid>,,SECURITY;
<aid>= User name: up to ten case-insensitive alphanumeric characters
<pid>= User password: up to ten case-sensitive characters. Must include at least two

Remove the management card.

Set switch S1-1 to On.
