1. Introduction

This configuration manual describes the settings which ensure good compatibility between the
Gigaset base stations, the handsets and the gnTel platform. This manual can be used for at
least the following types of base stations: N300A IP and N510 IP PRO.
The contents of this configuration manual is restricted to those settings that
specifically relate to the gnTel platform.
For a general guide containing all possible features and settings, we refer to the
Gigaset manuals (as provided by Gigaset Communications GmbH).
The screenshots of Gigaset webinterface pages that are used in this manual are based on an
N510 IP PRO base station with firmware version 42.240.
