Use a Bluetooth-enabled device

You can play the music files stored in Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphone or
tablet PC.
Pair (register) a Bluetooth-enabled device
To use Bluetooth, you need to register or pair a device to be connected beforehand.
Once pairing is completed, no more registration will be needed after that. Refer to instructions manuals
for Bluetooth-enabled devices as well.
1. Press
on the remote controller to enable the Bluetooth pairing mode.
• The Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the check sound (sounds like phone button press sound) will
be produced. A Bluetooth-enabled device will detect SBX-D201.
2. Select "SBX-D201" on a Bluetooth-enabled device.
• When the unit is paired with a Bluetooth-enabled device, the Bluetooth indicator will turn on, and
the short check sound will be produced.
 To pair another Bluetooth-enabled device after pairing one, hold down
for over three seconds to go to the Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash and the
check sound (sound like phone button press sound) will be produced.
 Up to eight devices can be paired with SBX-D201.
 If the ninth device is paired with the unit, the previously registered device will be deleted. To use
previous unpaired devices, pair them again.
Play music wirelessly
1. Press
on a remote controller.
• The Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the check sound (sound like phone button press sound) will
be produced.
2. Operate a Bluetooth-enabled device to connect with SBX-D201.
• The Bluetooth indicator will turn on, and the short check sound will be produced.
3. Operate the connected device to start playing.
• Sound will come from speakers of the unit.
 If the television is switched off while a Bluetooth-enabled device is playing music, the unit will be also
switched off.
 Operate a Bluetooth-enabled device to play or stop music.
 Refer to an instructions manual of a Bluetooth-enabled device.
 Sound volume can be controlled by SBX-D201 remote controller as well as a Bluetooth-enabled
device.
Disconnect a Bluetooth-enabled device
Use any of the following methods to disconnect a Bluetooth-enabled device.
• Operate a Bluetooth-enabled device to terminate connection. Refer to an instructions manual of a
Bluetooth-enabled device.
• Switch to another input source (AUX/HDMI/HDMI TV) with a remote controller of SBX-D201.
• Power off SBX-D201.
