Procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using the AED
A person is collapsing.

- Secure the safety of the surrounding area.

) Omission of rescue breathing:
If there is a fear of infection because the
injured or ill person has an intraoral injury,
you are hesitant about giving mouth-to-mouth
resuscitation, or preparing the mouthpiece for
rescue breathing takes too long, omit rescue
breathing and proceed to the next step.
Electric shock is not needed.
