To view the details of a particular message, in the message thread, press and hold the message to open the
options menu, and tap
If a message contains a link to a Web page, tap the link to let you open the link in the browser or add the URL as
a bookmark.
If a message contains a phone number, tap the message to open Dialer so you can call the number.
To reply to a text message:
1.
On the All messages screen, tap a text message thread to open it.
2.
Tap the text box at bottom of the screen, enter your reply message, and tap Send .
Tip
To reply a text message with a multimedia message, open the text message, press
Attach
. The text message is automatically converted into a multimedia message.

Preset Messages

Preset messages make it easy to compose text messages.
To add or edit preset messages:
1.
Press
and tap
2.
Tap the "Tap to compose" text box.
3.
Press
and tap Quick text . (You will see the list of preset messages.)
4.
To add a new message, press

Enter your message and tap
– or –

To edit a preset message, press
5.
Tap the message you want to edit, edit the message, and then tap

Deleting a Message or Message Thread

1.
On the All messages screen, tap the message thread that you want to delete.
2.
Do one of the following:
To delete the entire thread, press
– or –
To delete a message in a thread, press and hold the message that you want to delete, and then tap
on the options menu. When prompted to confirm, tap OK .

To delete several messages on the message list, press
the messages you want to delete, and then tap
Setting Text Message Options
On the All messages screen, press
section to set the text message options. You can set the following:
: Select this option to receive a report on the delivery status of your message.
Delivery reports
: Displays the message service center number used. Tap to change the number. It is

recommended that you do not change the number here for it may cause problems in receiving and
sending messages.
