Searching for Places of Interest

1.
While on the Google Maps screen, press

Enter the place you want to search in the search box. You can enter an address, a city, or type of
business or establishment (for example, museums in London.
Enter the place you
want to search here.
Note
After entering your search item, you may be asked to choose the place you want to search.
Tip
As you enter information, a list of all the places which you have searched or visited before appears on the screen.
You can also tap an address on the menu to show its location on the map.

to go to the next search item on the map if there are multiple search results.

to show the search results as a list.

Tap the callout to show the Address , Details (if available), and Reviews (if available) for the search item.
Viewing Google Maps
While viewing a map, take advantage of the following zoom and navigation techniques.
To zoom in or out on a map:

To navigate on a map:
Roll the trackball or slide your finger on the screen in any direction to view other areas of the map.
To change map modes:

and tap Map mode .
