Assigning other Sony components to
the input select buttons
You can change the controllable component with
the remote that is assigned for DVD, TUNER/
BAND, or VIDEO (input select button).
For example, when you connect a DVD player
instead of a DVD recorder to the system, you can
operate it by assigning the DVD player code to the
DVD input select button.
The default settings are follows:

Hold down the input select button (DVD,
TUNER/BAND, VIDEO) to which you want to
assign another component.
(ex. When you assign the DVD player to
DVD, press DVD.)

While pressing input select button (DVD,
TUNER/BAND, VIDEO), enter the
component code number of the desired
component by pressing the number button.
(ex. When you assign the DVD player, press 1
while pressing DVD.)
The component code numbers are follows:

* Default setting of the connected component.

DVD
When the component number of the connected
component is not set to the default number, you
can not operate the component. Set the component
number of the connected component to the default
setting.
