The sensor is faulty. Check the resistance at different temperatures if possible. If resistance is more than a few
hundred ohms out of range, replace sensor.
@60°F (16°C), resistance = Approx. 15,400Ω
@70°F (23°C), resistance = Approx. 10,700Ω
@110°F (43°C), resistance = Approx. 4600Ω
@150°F (66°C), resistance = Approx. 2000Ω
