Testing engine speed signal

Notes:
♦ The signal is generated by the engine speed
sender -G28-, processed in the engine con-
trol unit and passed on by contact 22 of the
engine control unit to the dash panel insert
as a rev counter signal.
♦ Testing engine speed signal:
⇒ Current Flow Diagrams, Fault Finding and
Fitting Locations binder
Testing fuel consumption signal for
multifunction display (MFD)
Note:
♦ The fuel consumption signal is computed by
the engine control unit from the injection time
and passed on by contact 75 to the multi-
function display.
