Web login

Overview

The device provides a built-in web server that enables logging in to the device's web interface from a PC.
The device supports the following web login methods:
HTTP login—HTTP is used for transferring web page information across the Internet. It is an
application-layer protocol in the TCP/IP protocol suite. The connection-oriented TCP is adopted at
the transport layer. The device supports HTTP 1.0.
HTTPS login—HTTPS refers to HTTP that supports the SSL protocol. HTTPS uses SSL to encrypt the
data exchanged between the HTTPS client and the server to provide data security and integrity.
Define a certificate attribute-based access control policy to allow legal clients to access the device
securely, and to prohibit unauthorized clients.
To log in to the device through the web interface, you must log in to the device through the console port,
enable the web login function (by default, HTTP is enabled and HTTPS disabled.), and configure the IP
address of the VLAN interface, web login username, and password.
