Interior lights
The dome lights have a built in rocker switch
which is operated by tilting the lamp lens as
follows:
a - light on with front doors or hatchback
open
b - light off
c - light on continuously.
Switch positions for the lower door panel
lights are as follows:
up - light is continuously
center- light off
down - light on with doors or hatchback
open.
a backward/forward
b height
c backrest angle
Electric seats
(optional equipment)
The rocker switches for a smooth three-way
seat adjustment are located at the outboard
side of the seat.
To permit easy access to the rear, the seat
will slide forward automatically when the
backrest is folded down (with ignition on or
off). The seat will remain in a position that
permits comfortable entry to the front, when
the backrest is tilted back to its upright po-
sition and securely locked.
Note:
Before operating the switches, tilt the safety
belt buckle at inboard side of seat out of the
way to prevent the buckle from getting
squeezed inbetween seat cushion and back-
rest, which could damage both buckle and
seat cover.
Manual operation
If the electric mechanism fails, the seat can
be moved forward or backward by pushing
the locking lever under the front of the seat
toward outboard side of seat. Slide the seat
to the desired position and let the lever go.
Move the seat slightly back and forth to make
sure it is securely engaged.
