Description/Purpose
- Disabled
Enable or disable SATA Device.
- Enabled
- IDE
Configures SATA as following:
- AHCI
IDE: Set SATA operation mode to IDE mode.
- RAID
AHCI: SATA works as AHCI (Advanced Host
Controller Interface) mode for getting better
performance.
RAID: Enables RAID (Redundant Array of
Inexpensive Disks) function which may require
installing the RAID driver during OS
installation.
Note that some more items shows up when
select to [AHCI] or [RAID] mode.
