4. Service

4.1. Demo Mode

Used to set up for demonstrations: reduces the time between measurements and the
accuracy for demonstration purposes.

4.2. Master Reset

Note:
• Following a reset to Factory Defaults, the LCD displays the Quick Start wizard.
• Following a reset to Factory Defaults, complete reprogramming is required.
Resets all parameter to factory defaults, with certain exceptions. The list of
exceptions includes, but is not limited to:
Language
Identification parameters (such as Tag, Installation Date)
Device Address
Write Protection
Auto False Echo Suppression
Auto False Echo Suppression Range
Options
To perform a reset to factory defaults via SIMATIC PDM, open the menu Device –
Master Reset and click on OK.

4.3. Powered Hours

Read only unless Write Protection (6.1.) is set to Unlock (2457). Displays the number of
hours the unit has been powered up since manufacture.
In SIMATIC PDM, open the menu Device – Wear.

4.4. Power-on Resets

Read only unless Write Protection (6.1.) is set to Unlock (2457).. The number of power
cycles that have occurred since manufacture.
In SIMATIC PDM, open the menu Device – Wear.

4.5. LCD Backlight

Time the backlight remains on.
