Connecting to TTY Equipment
1.
Connect the cable from the TTY device into the earphone jack on your phone.
2.
Enter the TTY Mode menu and select the desired TTY Mode (shown above).
3.
After setting the TTY mode, check the display screen of the phone for the TTY
icon.
4.
Connect the TTY equipment to the power source and turn it on.
5.
Make a phone connection to the desired number.
6.
When a connection is made, use the TTY equipment to send a text message, or
talk.
7.
The voice or text message from the other party will be heard or displayed on the
TTY equipment, depending on the TTY mode selected.
Security
The security menu allows you to lock your phone. To access Security from standby
mode, select Main Menu→Settings→System→Security.
Note: You should enter the phone lock code to enter this menu. The default lock code for
an inactivated phone is 0000. Once you have activated your handset, the default
lock code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number.
If the updated lock code is lost or forgotten, please contact your service provider.
Lock Mode: Choose between Unlock, Lock and On Power Up. If On Power
Up is selected, the phone will be locked automatically when it is powered on.
