Use only the Honda Genuine HFT oil
filter or a filter of equivalent quality
specified for your model. Using the wrong
Honda filter or a non-Honda filter which
is not of equivalent quality may cause
transmission damage.

Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the
rubber seal ( ) of a new oil filter.

Install the new engine oil filter and
tighten it by hand.
14.
Using an oil filter wrench attachment
and a torque wrench, tighten the new
engine oil filter to the specified torque:
19 lbf·ft (26 N·m , 2.7 kgf·m)
