Rotating
a still image
(ROTATE)
Mode
dial:
q
You can rotate the Image recorded m
portrat onentatlon and display it m
landscape onentatlon.

Set the mode dial to H , and
display the Image to rotate.
Press MENU.
The menu appears.
Select [ROTATE] with 4/F,
then press 0.
Rotate the Image clockwise
> or counterclockwise
< ,
select [OK] with A/V, then
press 0.
To cancel rotation
Select [CANCEL] with A/V m step 4,
then press 0.
Notes
l
You cannot rotate protected
or
uncompressed
images, or Images recorded
m TEXT
mode.
l
You may not be able to rotate Images
recorded
with other eqmpment.
l
Also, when vlewmg Images on a computer,
the Image rotation mformatlon
may not be
reflected
depending on the application
software.
Viewing
images
on a
TV screen
Mode dial: 0
Before connectmg your camera, be
sure to turn off the TV
Set the TV/VIDEO
switch to
"VIDEO"
jack

Connect the AN connecting
cable to the AN OUT jack of
your camera and to the
audio/video input jacks of the
TV.
If your TV has stereo type mput
Jacks, connect the audio plug
(black) of the A/V connecting
cable to the Lch Jack.
2 Turn on the TV and start
playback on your camera.
The playback image appears on
the TV screen.
Notes
l
You cannot use a TV that has an antenna
(aerial) connector
only.
l
When vlewmg a still Image on the TV, the
black band may appear around the Image.
