• The CD disc is not recognised. (When the laser beam does not go on)
Is the voltage of 3.4 V being applied to the emitter of Q15 ?
Is the voltage of 2.3 V being applied to the pin 6 of CP1 ?
Check connection of optical pickup cable.
If it is normal, replace the optical pickup mechanism unit.
Both picture and sound do not operate normally. (1)
Place the disc on the tray and close it.

pin 57 of IC1, normally ?

Replace the DVD servo PWB unit.
