XM Radio Phone Assistance
In the unlikely event it becomes necessary to call XM
Satellite Radio for Assistance to resolve a reception
difficulty, the MR88 will need to be placed in the
":XM Radio Diagnostic" Mode to aid the technician
in resolving the problem. Please perform the following
steps:
1. Place the MR88 in the XM Receiving Mode by us-
ing the BAND Push-button.
2. Press the MONO/SETUP Push-button until the
Front Panel Information Display indicates McIn-
tosh MR88 V__.___ firmware version, refer to
figure 54.

3. Rotate the MENU (PRESET) Control clockwise
until the informational display indicates "XM DI-
AGNOSTIC PRESS STORE". Refer to figure 55.

4. Press the STORE/EXIT Push-button to enter the
XM Diagnostic mode. At this time the Front Panel
Information Display will indicate "DIAGON-
STIC MODE POWER OFF TO EXIT". Refer to
figure 56.
