1. Make sure there is a node filler correctly installed for the empty node slot.
2. Make sure the air baffles are placed and correctly installed; and make sure the node cover
is installed and completely closed.
3. Make sure the fans are operating, and there are no obstructions to the airflow (both front and
rear of the server).
4. Reduce the Ambient temperature. The system must be operating within the specifications. (see
Features and specifications for more information)
5. Make sure the PCI adapter is supported by the server. To confirm, see the IBM ServerProven
website.
