Information
・ To take a photo using auto-focus function, touch
and hold the screen and release your finger when
the focus frame turns green and a beep sounds.
The photo is taken as soon as you release the
finger. If the focus frame turns red, auto-focus does
not operate correctly.
・ Auto-focus cannot be operated if "Focus mode"
(P.153) is set to "Infinity".
・ When you connect Stereo Headset with
Microphone (sample), commercially available
earphone set or other Bluetooth device, shutter
sound may be softer.
Taking a photo using in-camera

On the shooting screen, tap
(Switch camera).

Tap the screen.
・ The photo is taken as soon as focus is
set. The photo is automatically saved
in the microSD card.

・ When using the in-camera, "Image stabilizer", "Self-
timer", "Geotagging" and "Shutter sound" can be
set. The in-camera does not support other still
camera settings (P.151).
- The settings for "Image stabilizer", "Geotagging"
and "Shutter sound" are taken over from the ones
for the camera.
- "Self-timer" turns "Off" when switched to the in-
camera.

Using zoom

・ Zoom cannot be used while the in-camera is
activated.
Adjusting Exposure value
On the shooting screen, tap t,

Tap or drag the bar to adjust the
exposure value.
Information
・ Exposure value can be adjusted only when
"Capturing mode" (P.151) is "Normal".

Face detection

You can use face detection to bring an off-
center face into focus. The camera
automatically detects up to 5 faces at a time.
A yellow frame indicates a face to focus on,
and white frames indicate the rest. An
appropriate face is determined by distance
from the camera and off-center balance, and
is focused automatically. You can also tap
one of the frames to select which face should
be in focus.
