Main switch
The main switch controls the ignition and
lighting systems; its operation is described
below.
OFF
ON

ON:
Electrical circuits are switched on and taillight
comes on. The engine can be started. The
key cannot be removed in this position.

NOTE:~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the engine is started, the headlight and
meter lights come on automatically, and the
lights stay on until the main switch is turned
to "OFF" even if the engine stalls.

OFF:
All electrical circuits are switched off. The
key can be removed in this position.

LOCK:
The steering is locked in this position, and
all electrical circuits are switched off. The key
can be removed in this position. Refer to
"Steering lock" (Page 4-9) for proper oper-
ation.

Always turn the main switch to "OFF" or
"LOCK" and remove the key when the mo-
torcycle is unattended.
