Servicing
Servicing of heating systems is re
quired under current heating system
regulations and standards (DIN 4755,
DIN 4756 and DIN 1988-8).
Regular servicing of the heating sys
tem will ensure troublefree, energy-
saving and environmentally friendly
heating. We strongly advise you to
arrange a service contract with your
heating contractor.

Cleaning
The equipment can be cleaned with
domestic cleaning agents available
on the market (do not use abrasive
cleaning agents).
Apart from using the benefits offered by a modern heating system, there's a
lot you can do yourself to make additional fuel savings. For instance:
H Proper ventilation:
Fully open the windows for a short
time with the thermostatic valves
closed
H Don't overheat:
Aim at a room temperature of
20 °C. Every degree less in the
room temperature will reduce your
heating bills by up to 6 %
H Close window shutters (if fitted) at
dusk
H Operate thermostatic valves cor
rectly
Note on disposal of unwanted equip
ment
The unit contains an inbuilt, non-toxic
battery.
To safeguard the environment, please
dispose of spent batteries properly
via the appropriate collection points.
The battery should be removed by a
competent person.
H Don't obstruct radiators and ther
mostatic valves
H Make use of the individual adjust
ment facilities of the control unit,
e.g. "normal room temperature" al
ternating with "reduced room tem
perature"
H Set the domestic hot water tempe
rature of the DHW cylinder on the
control unit
H Control your consumption of hot
water:
A shower generally consumes less
energy than a bath
