Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies the slot number of an MPU that is not upgraded. (In standalone mode)
chassis chassis-number: Specifies the member ID of a switch that is not upgraded. (In IRF mode)
chassis chassis-number slot slot-number: Specifies the location of an MPU that is not upgraded. The
chassis-number argument is the member ID of the switch where the un-upgraded MPU resides, and
slot-number is the slot number of the un-upgraded MPU on the switch. (In IRF mode)
Description
In standalone mode

Use the issu commit command to upgrade the MPU that is not upgraded.
NOTE:
Execution of the issu commit command is the fourth step in the ISSU upgrade process.
After executing the issu commit command, you cannot perform a version rollback operation with the
issu rollback command.
Related commands: issu load and issu accept.
In IRF mode

Use the issu commit chassis chassis-number command to upgrade the MPU that is not upgraded. Use this
command when you apply the member switch-based ISSU upgrade method.
Use the issu commit chassis chassis-number slot slot-number command to upgrade the MPU that is not
upgraded. Use this command when you apply the MPU-based ISSU upgrade method.
NOTE:
Executing of the issu commit command is the fourth step in the ISSU upgrade process.
Executing of the issu commit command completes the ISSU upgrade process, and you cannot perform
a version rollback operation with the issu rollback command.
Member switch-based ISSU upgrade method: Upgrade multiple member switches separately to avoid
IRF fabric partition and upgrade failure. In other words, upgrade one member, wait for the switch to
reboot and join the IRF fabric again, and then execute the issu commit command to upgrade another
member switch.
MPU-based ISSU upgrade method: Upgrade two MPUs on the same member switch separately, so that
all interfaces cards on the member switch do not reboot.
Related commands: issu load and issu accept.
Examples
# In the ISSU upgrade process in standalone mode, upgrade the un-upgraded MPU in slot 0 on the
switch.
