Dial, delete or edit directory entries

To dial, delete or edit a directory entry (name and number), the entry must
be displayed on the screen. Use Review the directory (page 61) or
Search by name (page 62) to show an entry.

Display dial

To dial a displayed number from the directory:
Press PHONE/ or /SPEAKER on the handset.
FLASH
-OR-
/SPEAKER.
On the telephone base, lift the corded handset or press

Delete a directory entry

Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
/DELETE.
To delete the displayed directory entry, press
MUTE

The screen displays Delete contact?. Press /SELECT to
MENU
Delete contact?
confirm. There is a confirmation tone and the screen displays
Contact deleted. You cannot retrieve a deleted entry.
