1. If EPSON Perfection640 appears under Other devices with
a question (?) mark or under Imaging devices with an
exclamation (!) mark, right-click ? EPSON Perfection640 or
! EPSON Perfection640 and select Uninstall....

2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Shut down your PC and unplug your scanner. Then turn on
your PC and plug back your scanner.
4. Install EPSON TWAIN following the instructions in your
Startup Guide.
