8. Remove the three screws that secure the system fan, and then remove the system fan from the chassis.

9. Align the three holes in the new system fan with the corresponding screw holes in the chassis. Then,
install the three screws to secure the system fan.
10. Connect the system fan cable to the system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.
11. Reinstall the VESA mount bracket. See "Replacing the VESA mount bracket" on page 99.
12. Reinstall the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 98.
13. Reinstall the computer cover. See "Replacing the computer cover" on page 95.

Replacing the integrated camera

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the integrated camera, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the back cover. See "Removing the back cover" on page 90.
3. Remove the computer cover. See "Replacing the computer cover" on page 95.
4. Remove the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 98.
5. Locate the integrated camera. See "Major FRUs and CRUs" on page 31.
