Error/Warning

Clean or replace parts
For some errors and warnings it is a requirement to clean the Chemkey slots, the optical windows,
the barcode window, the sample detector or to replace the trays. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean the
parts. Use water and a mild detergent to clean the light shield. Make sure to move the cotton tipped
applicator in one direction only. Refer to

Possible cause
The ambient light is too high to
make a valid measurement.
Chemkey does not operate
correctly. Chemkey is not installed

• The sample cup is not filled to
the fill line.
• The sample conductivity is less
than 2 µS/cm.

Move the meter to a darker environment and
measure again.
• Put the Chemkey into the slot in one push.
