C. Reactivation after Storage
(1) Replace the White Ink-side Capping Cartridge or White Ink Cartridge mixed with Maintenance Solution with a
new White Ink Cartridge, and then activate the printer. When the Maintenance Solution is fully loaded in the
tube, replace the Capping Cartridge with a White Ink Cartridge and load White Ink following the steps of "5-1-3.
White Tube Cleaning (once a week)". If air is mixed in the tube, exchange the Capping Cartridge for a White
Ink Cartridge, load the Maintenance Solution using the [Maintenance] > [Initial Cleaning] operation, and then
load White Ink. In both cases, follow the indications on the Display.
(2) Once the White Ink is loaded, print Nozzle Check Patterns for both White and CMYK. If the print quality is poor
(especially for CMYK), clean the nozzle surface (front surface of Print Head) according to "7-2-6. Cleaning the
Print Head Nozzles" in the Instruction Manual.
<Note>
CMYK Auto Cleaning after non-use of the printer for two weeks or longer is the same as Power Cleaning.
