Prepare the original packing materials, including the anti-static bag, foam cushion, and packing

box for a power supply. Make sure these packing materials are clean, dry, and not damaged.
Remove the power supply from the chassis.

For more information, see
Put the removed power supply into the anti-static bag.
3.
Place the foam cushion over the power supply.
4.
Place the power supply and the foam cushion in the packing box, and seal the box with tape.
5.
Perform the same steps to repack the other power supplies.

Repacking the cards

Prepare the original packing materials, including the anti-static shielding bag, foam cushion,

and packing box, for a card. Make sure these packing materials are clean, dry, and not
damaged.
Remove the transceiver modules from the card.

If no transceiver module is installed, skip this step.
For information about how to remove a transceiver module, see
Remove the card from the chassis slot.
3.
After you remove a 12900 LPU, you need to remove the interface module adapter from the
slot and repack the interface module adapter by using the original packing materials. Install
the filler panel in the slot after you remove the chassis from the rack.
For information about how to remove a card, remove an interface module adapter, and install a
filler panel, see
Put the removed card into the anti-static bag.
4.
If a protection box is provided for the card, insert the removed card into the protection box, and
then put the box into the anti-static bag.
Place the foam cushion over the card.
5.
Put the card and the foam cushion into the box, and seal the box with tape.
6.
Perform the same steps to repack the other cards.
7.
Repacking the interface module adapters
Prepare the original packing materials, including the packing bag, foam cushion, and packing

box, for an interface module adapter. Make sure these packing materials are clean, dry, and not
damaged.
Remove the interface module adapter. For more information, see

Place the removed interface module adapter in the packing bag.
3.
Place the foam cushion over the packing bag.
4.
Place the interface module adapter and the foam cushion in the packing box, and seal the box

with tape.
Perform the same steps to repack the other interface module adapters.
