In case all above mentioned is ok, check signals necessary for a proper working UEM D250:
Check battery voltage at both sides of L220 – L222 and R867, ~4VDC. Also check 32.768kHz
sleepclock at J370:
Furthermore, ensure that the following voltages are measurable after pressing the power switch
at least for some milliseconds: check UEMRSTX 4VDC at J231, VCOREA 1.5VDC at C232/233, Vflash1
2.8VDC at C279, VANA 2.8VDC at C278, VIO 1.8VDC at C282, VR3 2.8VDC at C297 and PURX 1.8VDC at
C370. In case only one of these voltages is missing, check whether the line is pulled down because
of a short circuit. If the line seems to be ok, most probably UEM D250 is defect. As this part is
underfilled, rework is not possible.

Chapter 2: Phone switches off itself

In case of this symptom first of all check mechanical condition of battery connector X131.
Exchange the connector if the terminals are bent, soiled or corroded; or if the contact pins got
stuck in the connector housing.
If the connector seems to be ok but the problem persists, especially check the current consumption
of the phone:
If the current directly increases to more than 0.5 ampere after connecting the phone to a service
battery, most probably a defect power amplifier N700 causes this symptom. To verify the root
cause carefully check whether N700 gets hot; or remove coil L700 and check the current
consumption again. If the PA gets hot or the current consumption lowers to normal values after
having removed the coil, the power amplifier N700 is defect. Rework part with help of LGA rework
kit SK-9 on a BGA rework system; do not forget to tune Tx values after having changed the power
amplifier!
