Two-way communication system*

Using the communication system, you can
communicate with persons in the vicinity
of your vehicle via the loudspeaker and ex-
terior microphone without opening the
windows or doors.
1 Microphone talk button
2 Volume control
3 Interior loudspeaker
4 Interior microphone
5 Microphone slide switch
Listening
Open the glove box.
Remove the microphone from the glove
box.
Push microphone slide switch 5 up-
wards.
The exterior microphones are now op-
erational.
Speaking
Press the talk button for the interior mi-
crophone 1.
The exterior microphones are switched
off. The exterior loudspeakers are acti-
vated for speech broadcast.
Controlling the volume
Turn volume control knob 2.
This controls the volume of the exterior
loudspeakers.
