Only USB memory devices conforming to mass storage
class can be played on the S-52.
Before Playing a USB Memory Device
• The S-52 is compatible with USB memory devices in "FAT16" or
"FAT32" format.
• If the USB memory device is divided into multiple partitions, only the
top drive can be selected.

• The S-52 is compatible with "MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3" standards.
It is not compatible with "MPEG-2 Audio Layer-3" , "MPEG-2.5 Audio
Layer-3" , "MP1" or "MP2" standards.
• The S-52 is compatible with ID3-Tag (Ver. 2 and 3) standards or META
tags.
• Only files* that are not protected by copyright can be played on the
S-52.
z: Contents downloaded from pay music sites on the Internet are
copyright protected. Tracks ripped on a computer from a CD,
etc., and encoded in WMA format may be copyright protected,
depending on the computer's settings.
