1.
Pull rear battery box backwards using belt. The locking device
opens automatically when doing so.
2.
Pull battery boxes out using side handles.
3.
Pull front battery box backwards using belt and pull it out using
handles.
Removing batteries
CAUTION!
Risk of fire and burns hazard if battery terminal
is bypassed
– Take great care to make that the battery terminals
are never shorted with tools or mechanical mobility
device parts.
– Make sure that the battery terminal caps have been
replaced if you are not working on the battery
terminals.

Bend tabs (1) on the cover lightly to the outside and loosen
battery box cover.
2.
Open battery box (remove cover).
3.
Pull battery box socket / plug out of the guide.
4. The rear battery is only fitted with a battery box socket at the
front.
The front battery is fitted with a battery box socket at the front
(flange central) and with a battery box plug at the rear (flange
flush).
5. Note fixing position of battery and battery box sockets/plugs.
The new battery must be refitted in exactly the same position
as the old one.
6.
Batteries can be pulled upwards out of battery boxes by their
handles.
