5. During baking/roasting,
the oven
burner will turn on and off to
maintain the temperature
setting.
The Oven Indicator Light will turn
ori and off with the burner.
(cVhen baking/roasting
is done,
turn
both
the Oven Selector and
the Oven Temperature
Control to
OFF.

Refer to the Cooking Guide for
additional broiling information. The
Blanket-O-Flame"
Broiler uses
infrared rays to cook the food. Infrared
rays create fast, searing heat and
consume most smoke and spatters.
Always
broil wlth
the oven door
closed.

Position the rack before turning the
oven on. Refer lo "Broiling rack
position chart" on page 12 for
recommended
rack positions.
Put the broiler pan and food on the
rack.
Completely
close the oven door to
ensure proper broiling tempera-
tures.
Set the Oven Selector to BROIL.
Push in and turn the Oven Tem-
perature Control to BROIL. The
broiler will automatically
light in
50-60 seconds.
When broiling is done, turn both the
Oven Selector and the Oven
Temperature
Control to OFF.
NOTE: Do not preheat the broiler
before using.
