To make a silent interval
To erase recorded sound
A silent interval of 4 seconds or more can be provided between
tracks
.
This fun ction
is
useful for playing back on
decks
which
can skip to the beginning of
trac
ks, and for cutting unwanted
sound from commercials.
When new record
ings
are made on a pre-recorded tape, all
sounds recorded on that portion of the tape are automat ically
eras
ed
.
To erase a tape without making a new re cording. follow
the steps below.
