Understanding FM TMC Traffic

FM TMC traffic receivers receive traffic
information that is broadcast over the FM
Radio Data System. The FM TMC subscription
activates automatically after your navigation
system acquires satellite signals while receiving
traffic signals from the service provider. You can
add other FM TMC subscriptions at any time.
NOTE: The availability of FM TMC depends on
your region and may require the purchase of a
subscription.

Enabling Traffic

Receiving Traffic Data Using the
Built-in Traffic Receiver
NOTICES
Heated (metallized) windshields could degrade
the performance of the traffic receiver.
When the receiver is within a traffic coverage
area, your device will begin displaying traffic
information.
The traffic receiver and the device may need to
be in data range of an FM station transmitting
traffic information.
