SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

Operation is even easier when the components in the

201SA series are connected to the TU-201SA with
system connections. (For instructions on connections,
refer to "CONNECTIONS" on page 6.)
The system functions will only work when the
2
components of the 201SA series are connected. They
will not work with other components. To use the
system functions, connect the pre-main amplifier
(PMA-201SA).
(1) System Remote Control
When the TU-201SA is used in a system with the
2
201SA series, it can be operated with the system
remote control unit (RC-906) included with the pre-
main amplifier (PMA-201SA).
RDS button
Use this button to automatically tune to stations using
the radio data system.
RDS PTY TP
Press the PRESET < or > button after selecting
"PTY" with the RDS button to select one of the 29
program type.
When system connections are made, all the remote

control signals are received at the PMA-201SA's
remote sensor.
PANEL button
This button is used to select the panel mode.
Press this button when receiving RDS stations to
select the frequency, PS, PTY, RT or CT display.
The display mode changes as follows each time the
button pressed.

CT display
Use this to correct the time of the clock on the TU-
201SA. Press the PANEL button when the time
service of an RDS station is being properly received.
"CT" and "TIME" are displayed and the TU-201SA's
clock is corrected. "NO CT" is displayed if the RDS
station does not offer a time service and when the
broadcast is not being received properly.
Note that this button will not function if the reception
is poor.

Press this button to switch the
system power standby mode.

Press these buttons to recall
preset station.
