How to display the [H Setting] menu

Changing the Image Folder Name

You can change the image folder name from the standard name or the
date that pictures were taken. When [Date] is selected, pictures are
saved in separate folders by the date they were taken.
Folder Name
Standard
XXXPENTX (where XXX is the 3-digit folder number)
XXX_mmdd (3-digit folder number_month day)
Date
* xxx_ddmm (3-digit folder number_day month) when the date style is
set to [dd/mm/yy].
Picture taken with
standard folder name
(Example: March 25)

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Folder
Name] on the [H Setting] menu.

Press the four-way controller (5).
A pull-down menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Standard] or [Date].

Press the 4 button.
The Folder Name setting is saved.
The capacity of an image folder is 9999 files maximum. When the
number of files reaches 9999, a new folder will be automatically created.
