Setting Custom Functions to the Four-way
Controller
You can register a frequently used function to the four-way controller
(45). When taking pictures, you can press the four-way controller key
(45) to set functions directly, without having to display the Rec. Mode
menu.
Registering a Function

Select [Custom Function] in the [B Set-up] menu.

Use the four-way controller (45) to select the function
you want to register.

Press the OK button.
The function is registered and the camera is ready for capture or
playback.
• Only one function can be registered to the four-way controller
(45).
• There are eleven Rec. Mode functions that can be registered:

• When you select # (Image rotation), images displayed on the
LCD monitor are rotated left/right each time you press the (5)
four-way controller, and rotated up/down each time you press the
(4) four-way controller.
Retrieving functions

Press the four-way controller (45) in Capture mode.
The custom set function will be retrieved.
In MF Mode, the four-way controller (45) is used to adjust the
focus, thus the custom set function will not be retrieved even when
the four-way controller (45) is pressed.
