Manual network selection
To manually select the wireless network the device connects to, follow these steps:
1. From the start screen, swipe left.
2. Scroll down to and tap Settings.
3. Scroll down to and tap cellular+SIM.
4. Scroll down to and tap SIM settings.
5. Tap Network selection.
6. Tap search for networks.
7. Tap to select the desired network.
The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside Family Mobile's calling area, but roaming
networks are usually restricted to Family Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in
areas where Family Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.
Turn on / off Airplane mode
Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows you to use apps and menus, but not make calls
or use the internet.
To turn on or turn off airplane mode, follow these steps:
1. From the start screen, swipe left.
2. Scroll down to and tap Settings.
3. Tap airplane mode.
4. Move the Status switch right to turn on or left to turn off.
Turn on / off data roaming
To turn on or turn off data roaming, follow these steps
1. From the start screen, swipe left.
2. Scroll down to and tap Settings.
3. Scroll down to and tap cellular+SIM.
4. Tap Data roaming options.
5. Tap to select roam or don't roam.
