Troubleshooting

What appears troublesome may be easily remedied. Here are some problems that may occur and
their remedies. Before contacting a Pentax service center, check the following items.
Symptoms
The shutter cannot be
released.
Indicators do not appear on
the LCD panel.
Focus is not precise in the
picture.
Film winding is very heavy.
The first frame (or the last
frame) was cut off on the film.

The last frame is exposed.

The film is not winded.

Remedies
Remove the film.
Set the main switch to i.

Cancel the Self-Timer Mode.
Wind the film.
