4-3. To Adjust Brightness

The screen brightness is adjusted by changing the brightness of the backlight (light source from the LCD
back panel).
Setting range
0 to 100
Procedure
All operations are to be performed using the control button (see
Menu" (page
12)).
1. Press the control button while the operation guide is displayed.
The Setting menu appears.
2. Choose "Color" - "Brightness".
3. Set your desired value and press the control button to accept your setting.
Note
• You can adjust or set the brightness quickly by pressing the control button left or right while the operation
guide is displayed.
• If you feel that the image is too dark even if the brightness is set to 100, adjust the contrast.
• Alternatively, you can use G-Ignition (or G-Ignition Mobile) to set.

4-4. To Adjust Contrast

The brightness of the screen is adjusted by varying the video signal level.
Adjustable range
0 to 100
Procedure
All operations are to be performed using the control button (see
Menu" (page
12)).
1. Press the control button while the operation guide is displayed.
The Setting menu appears.
2. Choose "Color" - "Contrast".
3. Set your desired value and press the control button to accept your setting.
Note
• In the contrast of 50, every color gradation is displayed (for PC input signal only).
• When adjusting the monitor, it is recommended to perform brightness adjustment, which does not lose
gradation characteristics, prior to contrast adjustment.
• Perform contrast adjustment in the following cases.
- If the image is too dark even when the brightness is set to 100. (Set the contrast to higher than 50.)
• Alternatively, you can use G-Ignition (or G-Ignition Mobile) to set.
