Aligning the machine

The machine must be perfectly level to
ensure safe and proper operation.
^ The screw feet can be adjusted to
compensate for any unevenness in
the floor.
,
The ventilation slots underneath
the door must on no account be
blocked as this will prevent a
sufficient intake of cold air.

Room in which the dryer is located

The cool air that is sucked into the
dryer and is expelled passing through
the front and rear of the appliance
causes a slight increase in the room
temperature.
It is therefore important to ensure there
is sufficient ventilation, particularly in
small rooms. This will avoid extended
operational running-time that results in
higher energy consumption.

Washer-dryer stack

The tumble dryer can also be
combined with a Miele washing
machine in a washer-dryer stack. To do
this the appropriate stacking kit* (WTV)
to match your washing machine is
required.
A washer and dryer should never be
stacked without using the proper
stacking kit. Doing so is extremely
dangerous, as the dryer may vibrate off
of the washing machine during use.
All parts marked * are available from
the Miele Spare Parts or Sales
Departement, and must be fitted by a
suitably competent person according to
the instructions supplied with the kit.

Before moving the machine again

After each use a small quantity of
condensed water will collect in the area
of the pump. This water can run out, if
the machine is tipped up when it is
being moved. We therefore recommend
that you run the "Cool air" programme
for approximately 1 minute before
moving the machine. Any remaining
condensed water will then be fed into
the condensed water container or out
through the drain hose.
